Decent sound with somewhat neutral response. Okay depth and expression of detail. Can become fatiguing much sooner than slightly more expensive headphones. Plastic on sides broke after only 1 yr of intermittent use.
I've bought two of these. After the first one broke in a little over a year, I got another pair thinking it was a fluke. Now both have broken in nearly the exact same spot on the headband above the ear.

These are my go-to 'budget' cans. I've purchased at least 4 pair over the years. I mainly use them as my vocal booth & engineer monitoring headphones. All my clients like the sound quality & comfort. I've actually mixed many songs with them & they translate pretty good. My only gripe is the plastic adjustable headband. They all crack/break over time. I would love to see a metal headband version (CB1 Pro???). The cables are nice & high quality too!

No. They use the standard 3.5mm connector, and include a ¼ inch adapter for professional A/V gear.
The CB-1 headphones are “over-ear”, a.k.a. “circumaural” headphones. They completely enclose the ear, and will reduce the amount of outside noise that can leak in. They are extremely comfortable for long-term use.
Yes, the CB-1 earpads are removable. We don't recommend the use of aftermarket pads. If you are in need of replacement OEM earpads, please contact us.
Yes. If you are having trouble removing the cables from the headphone, please note there is a locking mechanism - a quarter turn clockwise will lock them, and a quarter turn counter-clockwise will unlock them.
You can use just about any 3.5mm cable with the CB-1, but it will not have the locking mechanism of the original cable.
