I am blown away by the status EarPods. The quality of sound is beyond anything I have ever heard before by other pairs, including Apple’s AirPods. Would highly recommend it to someone, especially with an easy to use app that can adjust for ambient noise have a silent mode and the base is ridiculous on these. The last pair of AirPods I’ll ever use.
So I've had these for a few weeks now. The sound quality is out of this world. I did have a problem with people being able to hear me on phone calls. I did a hard reset and that seems to have resolved that issue. Other than that, the sound is spectacular!!
There’s a lot to like about the Pro X!
They are extremely comfortable and stay securely in my ears and I really like the distinctive design and premium feel of both the buds and the case.
Sound quality is the highlight for me. After a little EQ to suit my preferences, they deliver deep, punchy, beautifully controlled bass, natural vocals, and plenty of detail. They’re easily among the best-sounding true wireless earbuds I have used so far.
I also love having both physical buttons and customizable touch controls. The app is intuitive and genuinely useful, connectivity has been rock solid, and battery life has been perfectly good for my everyday use.
Overall, a very enjoyable package that has really won me over!
I don’t think I can describe how surreal it is to wear the earbuds and listen to a song for the first time with them. I owned the Pro X so I already grew accustomed to the quality Status brings to the table with their products but I was still absolutely blown away by how much the GoldenSound EQ does for the earbuds. The EQ uses the three drivers in each earbud to its full advantage. People always say it felt like the music was in the room when praising earbuds but these entirely sounded like it was in the room with me. I highly recommend pairing them with the Questyle Pro2 for all my fellow iPhone users or comparably the FiiO BT11 (I own both) to fully bring out the LDAC quality to your buds. Also make sure to switch Spotify to lossless streaming if you use it because otherwise you aren’t benefiting from the LDAC. Overall I can’t recommend them enough, for the price difference I have no uncertainties about choosing the GoldenSound edition!
