We maintained the celebrated hybrid triple driver acoustic system of the Between 3ANC and Between Pro, with some notable improvements: An enlarged 12mm dynamic driver, supported by two Balanced Armature drivers manufactured by Knowles, a leading producer of these precision-crafted specialty drivers.

Status is #1 for sound quality.

I'm a music lover so sound quality is the most important factor for me and the Pro X are absolutely the best sounding wireless earbuds I've ever experienced. Before these, the Between 3 ANC held that spot, but somehow Status made notable improvements to the sound and greatly improved ANC and transparency mode. All in an even smaller form factor that's more comfortable to wear.

My feedback for Status for what it's worth:

1. I like the smaller size but I'm missing the battery life of the Between 3 ANC. Sound quality is my #1 most important feature but #2 is definitely battery life and the Pro X has noticeably less of it. Not terrible but coming from the Between 3 ANC, it's been slightly disappointing at times and that's with ANC, Transparency, and LDAC off. I will use LDAC while listening to music and that drains the battery significantly more compared to listening without it. Overall, the battery life is great though and totally acceptable and better than most other flagship models. I'd rather have a slightly larger earbud and better battery life personally though.

2. Just like the Between 3 ANC, if you want to turn ANC and Transparency off after switching one of them on either with the app or with the physical buttons, you have to open the app in order to do so. This is annoying and I wish this was addressed. I would like to be able to program ANC and Transparency toggles individually or at the very least be able to cycle through the three options with the physical…

Simply Amazing sound!

I have the micros and have had a couple pairs of of the Status pros. (I washed two pairs in the laundry.) 😆

The Pro X are noticeably better which I thought impossible. I love them and they are my go to for listening in public or working around the yard.

Status Pro X earbuds

Best sounding earbuds I've ever tried loving them more daily. The ambient sound is nice to help hear around you but when you don't want any other sound but your music the noise cancelling or anc is very stellar, works so very good I'm impressed. Get them when on sale but worth full price.

I got the moonbeam color and I like it, phone conversations with noise cancelling works amazing ,I'm around noisy situations a lot and people on the other end aren't hearing the loud noises such as semi truck running as you walk in front of the engine. This was a big sell point for me and the crisp high ,medium sounds are spot on and the bass is very welcome. You hear details in your music you may not have known were even there until you've listened to it especially with the anc on. I highly recommend best set of comfortable and sounding buds ever. Also has a nice long battery life wit rechargeable capabilities with the case. If you want precision quality buy these. Thanks for your time

Most Impressive Earbuds in the Market

I've used numerous earbud brands and I was not in a haste to try the Status Pro X. However, I decided to try my hands on them to see if they are worth the buy or even worth dropping my flagship earbuds from Apple, Google, Samsung, Bose and other brands. Off the box, I was blown away by the sound differentiation, proper highs, lows and mids. The Knowles equalisation took the Status Pro X to another level. I do not think of picking up any other earbuds other than the Status Pro X, take this from me as an audiophile. Now, I listen to music and hear every small detail projected very clearly, this is clearly the best earbuds in the market even for iPhones, even though the LDAC codec might not be supported.
