Status Hub App Update (v2.4) — November 2025
We’re excited to share a fresh update to the Status Hub app on both iOS and Android — designed to make your listening experience even smoother and more precise.
This release focuses on refining the Customize EQ experience, improving reliability across devices, and preparing for an upcoming firmware update for our Pro X earbuds.
🎧 Key Improvements in This Release
Fixed volume jump on Android when using LDAC and Customize EQ
Some Android users experienced a sudden change in volume when adjusting EQ bands with LDAC enabled. We’ve identified and resolved this bug to ensure a consistent, predictable sound level when fine-tuning your mix.
Updated frequency band labels for the Pro X
The Pro X now displays the correct upper and lower shelf frequencies in the Customize EQ interface, providing more accurate control across your preferred frequency spectrum.
Improved in-app messaging for EQ normalization
When adjusting multiple frequency bands, the app automatically “trims” overall loudness to maintain balanced output and protect against distortion. We’ve clarified this behavior in the UI — so you’ll better understand why levels may slightly adjust when customizing your EQ.
Fixed mislabeled frequency bands for Between 3 ANC
A labeling issue affecting some Between 3 ANC users on the Customize EQ page has been resolved. Frequency bands now display accurately for this model.
Corrected a minor typo on the Customize Controls page
Sometimes it’s the little things — and this one’s fixed.
🛠 Behind the Scenes
We’ve also improved in-app analytics and push-notification handling to make future updates and feature rollouts more seamless. These changes won’t be visible day-to-day, but they help us continue delivering a reliable and responsive app experience.
🔋 Also released: Firmware v1.5.8 for Pro X
Earlier this week, we rolled out firmware v1.5.8 for the Pro X earbuds. This update addresses an issue where some devices were misreporting battery percentage. Once installed, your Pro X will display battery levels more accurately across both earbuds and the charging case.
