Exactly what I needed.

I had been looking everywhere for good closed-back studio headphones, but past experience made me wary of big claims. Glad I decided to take a chance on these, though. Amazing quality. Crystal clear. Perfect for recording or transcribing. Love ‘em!

CB-1 headphones

I googled a lot of different makes of headphones for my son to find the biggest and most comfortable headphones with good sound. He has a slightly bigger head and a lot of headphones are too small, but he loves these. I bought another pair as spares.

Studio monitor headphones

I think the headphones are very good. Better than expected and at the economical price, you can't go wrong with these.

Transformative

I got the CB-1 as my everyday headphone to replace a cheap ste of earbuds earbuds, and boy, am I glad I took the plunge. I once owned the Grado SR80i 'phones; these sound at least as good to ears my (plus actual sub-bass response!), but at a much better price. That would be enough, but on top of that the CB-1 features a much more solid construction, far better comfort and enough passive sound isolation to block the sounds of my daily commute. I'm totally in love.

Way better than they should be at this price!

Very impressed. I've been using Sony MDR-V900 for years which are good but the clarity and separation on the CB-1s is outstanding. I am even able to mix and feel confident that the eq moves I'm making are transferring to real world applications. These are not bass heavy or wooly, but definitely punchy. Love them!

FAQ
Are the CB-1 Headphones wireless?

No. They use the standard 3.5mm connector, and include a ¼ inch adapter for professional A/V gear.

What’s the fit of the CB-1?

The CB-1 headphones are “over-ear”, a.k.a. “circumaural” headphones. They completely enclose the ear, and will reduce the amount of outside noise that can leak in. They are extremely comfortable for long-term use.

Are the earpads removable? Can I replace them with aftermarket earpads?

Yes, the CB-1 earpads are removable. We don't recommend the use of aftermarket pads. If you are in need of replacement OEM earpads, please contact us.

Are the cables removable? Can I use aftermarket cables?

Yes. If you are having trouble removing the cables from the headphone, please note there is a locking mechanism - a quarter turn clockwise will lock them, and a quarter turn counter-clockwise will unlock them.

You can use just about any 3.5mm cable with the CB-1, but it will not have the locking mechanism of the original cable.
