They sound good but honestly it didn't take long for the right headphone to just break off. I didn't handle them roughly at all so it was a shock to me. I continued to use them without adjusting the right side until it just gave up. Maybe i got a bad set but not the greatest in my opinion. They sound fire though.
Also I tried to tape it on but it didnt work

I just wanted to plut this out there because I saw some bad reviews that I find a little hard to believe. They must have a very careless and abusive approach to the CB-1s.
I have run a commercial recordings studio www.audiolab.org for the last 33 years and have had MANY, many pro level head phones through these years. I bought a pair of the CB-1s on a whim based on their price and specs. I like the first pair so much I bought another pair. They have lasted, been very durable and have a very good flat sound and being 32ohms has allowed for the volume levels my clients like. I am going to buy a couple more pairs. I highly recommend these head phones for Live Tracking in a studio environment or just listening back to mastered mixes. They are just that good. Not JUST because of the price either. They are worth $150 easy but, of course, a STEAL for the price I got them for. Thank you Status Audio!
I've read some of the other reviews & all I can say is that I agree with those who have enjoyed these phones. Since day one, I have loved listening to them, at leisure and especially via nearfeild monitoring in the studio! As for their construction, never had a problem with mine falling apart. I like their design, too, I'm not very ruff on my ear gear which makes me ponder, " How are these ppl treating their equipment?" Bottomline, I recommend the CB-1's to anyone looking for a quality product with great sound, utility and a price range that's very affordable! And I stand on that, "WORD IS BOND!"
Decent sound with somewhat neutral response. Okay depth and expression of detail. Can become fatiguing much sooner than slightly more expensive headphones. Plastic on sides broke after only 1 yr of intermittent use.

The CB-1 headphones are “over-ear”, a.k.a. “circumaural” headphones. They completely enclose the ear, and will reduce the amount of outside noise that can leak in. They are extremely comfortable for long-term use.
Yes, the CB-1 earpads are removable. We don't recommend the use of aftermarket pads. If you are in need of replacement OEM earpads, please contact us.
Yes. If you are having trouble removing the cables from the headphone, please note there is a locking mechanism - a quarter turn clockwise will lock them, and a quarter turn counter-clockwise will unlock them.
You can use just about any 3.5mm cable with the CB-1, but it will not have the locking mechanism of the original cable.
