The diffuse-field head-related transfer function, or DF-HRTF, is the characterization of what your brain expects as 'correct'. With extensive research and development, we were able to get closer to true neutral than any product has achieved before. (With some careful improvements on top, because who doesn't love a bit more bass?)
We measured how true neutral sound is changed by the ears from hundreds of directions in a specialist laboratory. The research included GoldenSound’s own ears and the Brüel & Kjær 5128, the current state-of-the art ear simulator and headphone measurement fixture.
Those measurements helped us account for the test system’s own effect on sound. GoldenSound then adjusted the sound of Pro X further based on existing preference research and extensive listener focus-group testing.

Absolutely the best earbuds I have purchased to date
The sound is unbelievable, bass is superb to any other earbuds I have purchased I was happy with my previous ear buds but the Pro X takes listening to a whole new level you can’t go wrong purchasing the Pro X !!
Bought these earbuds a month ago. WOW the sound quality is brilliant. Their is a real rich and depth to the sound, noticeable instantly. I haven’t tried the Standard Status Pro X’s so couldn’t tell you if the extra £40 for the GoldenSounds equaliser setting is worth it. But the sound quality of these earbuds is amazing. I’ve owned Bose earbuds the moved to Apple Pro’s for ease of use. I have the newer Pro 3’s. But the GoldedSounds earbuds deliver a far superior sound. I have had them cut out for a brief second once or twice. But otherwise connectivity seems pretty reliable. Bluetooth range was also pretty good. They were also smaller than I was expecting, which was a pleasant surprise.
I would definitely recommend these earbuds for anyone that wants superior sounding earbuds. But as I said, I haven’t compared the to the standard Status Pro X’s.
I also bought the memory foam buds and the case for the case. Looks really smart.
Ich habe den STATUS Audio Golden Sound Pro X diesen Montag cirka 5 Stunden gehört, Quelle waren ein Fiio M33 2R2 und ein Cayin N6iii - Hires Player mit FLAC Dateien in 96kHz / 24Bit Hires Qualität. Die Status Audio sind jetzt ca. 10 Stunden gelaufen und der Unterschied zwischen neu und eingespielt ist meiner Meinung nach frapant. Die In-Ears klingen einfach nur absolut genial! Ich habe teilweise das Gefühl, ich höre Töne bei Songs die ich seit Jahren kenne, die ich vorher noch nie so gehört habe. Ich habe sie daraufhin mit meinen anderen Kabel In-Ears verglichen was da sind AKG N40 - ca. 400 CHF und Kinera Imperial Verdandi - 1200 CHF! Desweiteren auch noch mit meinen Anker Soundcore Aerofit 2 Pro On -Ears was rein Klangtechnisch wohl so ziemlich der beste On-Ear ist welcher erhätlich ist und der mich mit seinem Klang trotz des Baubedingten Bass-Mankos auch immer wieder überzeugt hat. Nach dem STATUS klingt er deutlich weniger überzeugend. Bis vor einem Monat hätte ich es für völlig unmöglich gehalten, dass mir ein Bluetooth In-Ear mir besser gefallen kann als, vor allem, die genannten, zum Teil viel teureren Kabel In-Ears. Ich persönlich bevorzuge die "STATUS Signatur", deshalb hätte ich mir abgesehen von der Goldenen Bemalung die "normale" Version kaufen können. Das Golden Sound EQ-setting ist mir etwas zu wenig klar, das ist aber natürlich alles Geschmackssache. Für mich ist der Pro X bis auf weiteres der absolute Überflieger und ein Kopfhörer der Süchtig macht!! Kann…
I was prepared to send it back with disappointment based on other purchases I had made. I would have if it didn’t have exactly what I was looking for. Comfort. Great sound. An app to tailor the eq to your preference. I’m a drummer so it also helps to have the outside sound blocked which it does a great job doing. It does a great job if you need something to block out noise on a plane as well. Also when I’m learning songs I need to hear what the bass drum as well as the cymbals are doing. Having the adjustments on the eq are a well needed added bonus. Plus at a touch of a button on the app you can change or adjust the settings with ease. They’re very low profile so you can barely notice them. A very wise choice if you want great sound and flexibility. Needless to say I won’t be returning them
they sound horrible out of the box, once you adjust the eq it’s great. would not say these are better than airpods pro 3. i haven’t really tried any other earbuds except those. the special subwoofer is underwhelming. i thought i would get that heavy punch from bass but it’s just meh. might return these for airpods pro 3 again. or maybe i’ll try bose.
