So I have invested tons of money into bluetooth ear buds. When I received My new Status Pro x's it brought a new Audiophile approach to listening to My music! Best headphones I've ever owned
I'm a true audiophile. I've had a $50,000 tube driven reference stereo. I've had a $1,500 set of planar headphones. I wish they could be analog but these are hands down the best sounding headphones I've ever had in my life based on their audio Recreation. If you actually care about the music that you're listening to I cannot recommend these headphones enough. I never listened to music on my phone before I got these headphones. Now I have a Spotify subscription and I listen to music nearly constantly. They sound very flat on all the factory settings. If you really want to wake them up make a custom EQ with these settings. It will completely change your listening experience. I had the between 3ANC before the pros. They were the best sounding headphones I had until the pros. I honestly can't notice that much of a difference in the sound quality but the microphone and noise cancellation works much better.

Status is #1 for sound quality.
I'm a music lover so sound quality is the most important factor for me and the Pro X are absolutely the best sounding wireless earbuds I've ever experienced. Before these, the Between 3 ANC held that spot, but somehow Status made notable improvements to the sound and greatly improved ANC and transparency mode. All in an even smaller form factor that's more comfortable to wear.
My feedback for Status for what it's worth:
1. I like the smaller size but I'm missing the battery life of the Between 3 ANC. Sound quality is my #1 most important feature but #2 is definitely battery life and the Pro X has noticeably less of it. Not terrible but coming from the Between 3 ANC, it's been slightly disappointing at times and that's with ANC, Transparency, and LDAC off. I will use LDAC while listening to music and that drains the battery significantly more compared to listening without it. Overall, the battery life is great though and totally acceptable and better than most other flagship models. I'd rather have a slightly larger earbud and better battery life personally though.
2. Just like the Between 3 ANC, if you want to turn ANC and Transparency off after switching one of them on either with the app or with the physical buttons, you have to open the app in order to do so. This is annoying and I wish this was addressed. I would like to be able to program ANC and Transparency toggles individually or at the very least be able to cycle through the three options with the physical…

I have the micros and have had a couple pairs of of the Status pros. (I washed two pairs in the laundry.) 😆
The Pro X are noticeably better which I thought impossible. I love them and they are my go to for listening in public or working around the yard.
